Directing Overview
Sitting in the director’s chair is, without a doubt a great experience. Having been an operator in most crew positions, I know what people and equipment cannot do. I know what it takes to be a part of a great live production crew and I appreciate those on the crew that put forth their best efforts. That’s exactly why it’s so important to be able to hand pick my crew on a project – I know what they are capable of and the professionalism that they will bring to the project.
That being said, it’s not always possible to pick your crew – so recomendations, referrals and repitation are crucial.
Having traveled the country on a variety of projects for over thirty years, I have a pretty good network of associates in nearly every market that I can often get names and recomendations if I don’t know them personally.
