About

Music is at the heart of my career and always has been – from performing and recording in regional rock bands to directing live shows. I am always looking for new projects to direct. I have been blessed to be able to have a history of directing live performance video of many of the biggest names in music. As a musician, I equate directing live concerts to being able to feel what style to play a particular song. Does the song call for a heavy back beat? How about in the pocket? Should I lay out and just add sparkle as needed? You gotta know when not to get in the way and overplay it. I also feel that the video work should compliment and capture the performance - most of the audience will probably assume the video production is part of the artist’s show. Video has got to be representative of that performance.

I do my homework for each show I direct, I prepare for every show I direct, I switch my own shows and I direct a great line cut – which is ultimately going to save someone money in post production. Sure, you can suck the life out of a performance capture by editing it so tight that there’s no feeling – or, you can hire me and we’ll have fun, have a great show that feels real and no-one gets hurt. Ask around, then call me………..ck
